MEET MARLA
Pastry Chef Marla Romash created Marla’s Magic after working in politics and media, including White House service as Communications Director for Vice President Al Gore. More than a decade ago, she took a break from politics to attend and graduate with honor from the Pastry Arts Program at L’Academie de Cuisine in Maryland and worked as a Pastry Chef at Washington, DC’s finest caterers before opening Dreamz Catering, with her husband, Chef Marc Alexander. Marla and Marc moved to Jamestown in 2016. Marla’s unique cakes and confections have gained attention from The New York Times, The Washington Post, Politico, Huffington Post, the Today show and others.
